In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Germany displayed varied performance trends in downloads and active users. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into these apps' standings.

Live Earth Map & GPS Map from Gitola Tech Studios showed a significant increase in downloads, with numbers peaking at approximately 27.9K in the week of August 19. The app maintained a strong presence in terms of weekly active users, starting at 24.3K in early July and rising steadily to 55.6K by the end of September.

Blitzer.de by Eifrig Media GmbH experienced relatively stable download numbers, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter. Downloads peaked at 18.5K in the week of August 5. Weekly active users hovered around the 100K mark, slightly dipping to 98.2K by the end of the quarter.

Google Earth, developed by Google LLC, maintained consistent download figures, with a peak of 18.2K in the week of September 2. Active users initially rose to a high of 228K in mid-July, with a slight decline to 204K by the quarter's end.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw its downloads reach a high of 17.8K in early August. The app's weekly active users started at 181K, climbing to a maximum of 201K in mid-August, before settling at 174K by late September.
